About me

I’ve been SimRacing on and off for over 20 years now. Starting in 1984 with “Revs” on the BBC and currently iRacing.

In between, what really got me hooked on the ’serious’ simulation games was Grand Prix Legends which was just so damn difficult I couldn’t put it down for some reason. That led to my first PC wheel, a £20 job from PC World’s bargain bin. Using the wheel made the world of difference and led to the inevitable upgrades; MS Sidewinder; Logitech DFP and my current setup of Logitech G25 and BRD Speed 7 3-pedal set. Unfortunately, the Frex simWheel is a little out of the question at the moment!

In 2005, after a brief hiatus from racing, SimBin’s superb GTR sucked me back in but more importantly, got me racing online and into a league environment with SimRacing.org.uk where I’ve been a regular for the last 3-4 years and founder of ‘Legends Racing’ simracing team.

I’m currently license ‘A’ on both road and ovals in iRacing and not driving any other sims.
