Fans can challenge NASCAR driver Greg Biffle around New Hampshire Motor Speedway at  Game On in Boston

That Roush Fenway Racing superstar Greg Biffle, defending champion of the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, will challenge fans to hit the gas in iRacing.com’s NASCAR simulators from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday 8 September at Game On! The event is free and open to all aspiring drivers who think they have what it takes to sit behind the wheel of some of the world’s most powerful vehicles.

We knew this track was being developed but iRacing have officially announced it now and say it will be available later this month.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a 1.058-mile (1.703 km) oval speedway located in Loudon, New Hampshire which has hosted NASCAR racing annually since the early 1990s, as well as IRL and CART racing during the 1990s.

As well as the “Magic Mile” oval circuit, New Hampshire Motor Speedway features a 1.6 mile road circuit features a dozen corners and dramatic elevation changes.

iRacing staff member Tony Gardner has confirmed that they are still working on the Spec Racer and it is planned to be launched “first half of next year”, the latest work comprised of sound recording at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

He also says a couple of iRacing staff are SCCA drivers (sanctioning body for the Spec Racer) so I’d imagine we’re going to get a very authentic reproduction.
